Brake discs are an important component of the braking system. In order for the brake system to be able to decelerate the vehicle safely and bringing it to a complete stop if necessary, the brake discs must combine with the brake pads to generate a brake torque (a brake force). Worn out brake discs can potentially cause accidents and are MOT failures.
